What we collect, why, and how to have it deleted. Last updated October 8, 2026.
If you just browse
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not sell or rent anyone's information. Page views are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not set cookies or follow you across other websites. When you tap a listing's phone number, website or directions link, we record that the click happened, on which page, and whether it came from a phone. That record holds no name, number, address or anything else that identifies you. We use it to tell a business how many people it reached.
If you sign up
This site has no sign-up or inquiry form. The only form is the graduate outcome report described below. The program finder runs in your browser: only the first three digits of the ZIP code you type are used, to load a file of ZIP code locations, and nothing you type is stored.
We keep what you typed, the page you signed up on, the date, and the exact consent wording you agreed to. We use it only for the message you asked for. We do not share it with businesses listed here unless you ask us to put you in touch with one. Text messages: reply STOP to any message and you will get no more. Message and data rates may apply.
Graduate outcome reports
The "share your outcome" form on a program's page asks for the month you finished, what the training cost you after any grant, scholarship or employer payment, whether you passed the licensing exam (or have not taken it, or the field has none), whether you got a job in the field, and optionally how many months that took and your starting hourly pay. Every answer is a number or a choice: there is no free-text box, and the form never asks for your name, email, phone or address.
We publish outcomes only inside anonymous ranges, and only after at least 5 reports from at least 3 different people, sent over at least 60 days, have passed review (school, metro and state figures also need at least 2 programs). A single report is never shown, and nothing on the site says who reported. The school cannot see who reported, and neither can we: we never know your name. Each report stores the exact consent wording you agreed to.
To stop spam we keep a scrambled code made from your internet address and browser type (a keyed hash, so the address itself is never stored) and delete it 180 days after the report. We also keep a 4-character fragment of a separate scrambled code, shared with thousands of other addresses, only to count how many different people reported. A Cloudflare Turnstile check runs when you send the form. To remove a report you sent, email editor@careerfunded.com with the program, the school and the month you finished.
If you own a listed business
Listings are built from public sources: state licensing and program records, the business's own website, and its public Google profile. Each listing shows where its facts came from and when we last checked them. Anything you send us to update or claim a listing is used for that listing.
Who handles the data
The site and its analytics run on Cloudflare. Listing data and signups are stored with Supabase in the United States. Messages you ask for are sent through our email or text provider. None of them may use your information for their own marketing.
See, change or delete your information
Email editor@careerfunded.com from the address, or with the phone number, you signed up with. We will answer within 30 days and delete on request. This site is meant for adults; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
