The GI Bill for career training

Of the 3,691 schools we list, 1,317 report Yellow Ribbon participation and 1,707 report giving credit for military training to IPEDS; 2,252 publish a veterans page.

The rule

The Post-9/11 GI Bill covers non-degree programs at approved schools, including vocational and technical training (38 U.S.C. 3313(g)); VA names programs such as HVAC repair, truck driving, EMT certification and barbering or cosmetology. VET TEC 2.0 covers information technology training only.

"Approved for GI Bill" appears on this site only for a school found in VA's GI Bill Comparison Tool. No VA list is loaded yet, so no page carries that badge; check a school in VA's GI Bill Comparison Tool before you enroll.
