How long is EMT training?
Most EMT and paramedic certificate programs take 5 months to 12 months; the middle of 46 programs reporting a length to IPEDS is 10 months. In clock hours, the middle program runs 950 hours (half run 220 to 1,100). On state WIOA training lists the middle EMT and paramedic program lasts 22 weeks.
